Revere Beach

Our first outing proved a major success! We packed up a picnic complete with spinach-feta-tomato-hummus wraps and ample liquid refreshments and boarded the blue line to Revere Beach. Expecting to find used syringes and cigarette topped sandcastles, we were ecstatic to find a soft sand beach inviting us to run, dance and spread our feast upon. Apparently it is only four miles north of downtown Boston and though the airport was within earshot, we had plenty of airspace to fly our kites. Definitely worth a second trip.
